Liberty Award Dinner

We are presenting our 2nd Annual Liberty Awards and are honoring the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard this year. The Liberty Awards celebrate our freedom and independence and recognize those who have contributed to our safety and liberty here in the 50th State. From the near miraculous turnaround of the carrier USS Yorktown that helped win the battle of Midway, to the critical role the Pearl Harbor Shipyard plays in keeping our fleet ready and at sea in the Pacific and Indian Oceans; to the important role it plays in the Hawaiian economy and keeping Hawaiian families together. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard has distinguished itself as an outstanding contributor to our state and our nation.

The Research Institute for Hawaii.USA will recognize those contributions with a Liberty Award, which will be presented at the Liberty Award Dinner on Friday, July 20, 2007, at the newly opened Pacific Aviation Museum located on Ford Island. Liberty Award Links
